Polo | Pimentel Law, P.A. was founded on a simple observation: the law firms in Miami-Dade's most diverse communities either looked polished but treated clients like case numbers, or felt personal but could not handle a complex commercial closing. We built our firm to do both.
Our partners, Jean C. Polo, Jr. and Emerson E. Pimentel, both graduated from Florida International University College of Law in 2014. Both were admitted to The Florida Bar in 2015. Jean is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida. Between them, they have closed more than $100 million in real estate transactions and tried and settled commercial disputes across the state.
What makes our firm different is not that we handle real estate, or that we litigate, or that we represent personal injury clients, or that we form businesses and draft estate plans. It is that we do all of these things — and we do them in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. In our community, those three languages are not a feature. They are the foundation.

Jean C. Polo, Jr. is a Partner at Polo | Pimentel Law, P.A. His practice spans commercial real estate transactions, contract disputes, Title III ADA claims, and courtroom litigation at the state and federal level. Clients turn to him when the stakes require both sharp transactional judgment and the willingness to litigate when a deal goes sideways.
Emerson E. Pimentel, Esq.
Emerson E. Pimentel is a Partner at Polo | Pimentel Law, P.A. His practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate, business litigation, and personal injury representation. He has facilitated closings of Florida properties with aggregate transaction values exceeding $100 million.
